Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled by Velours (“Velours”, “we”, “us”), the operator of an invitation-only members’ club in the Emirate of Dubai. It should be read together with our Terms of Membership.

1. Event tickets

Event tickets purchased in advance may be cancelled and refunded only where the cancellation request reaches us before the cut-off communicated for that event. After the cut-off, tickets are non-refundable because the place has been held for you and cannot be resold. If Velours cancels an event outright, ticket holders will be offered a refund or a transfer to a future event.

2. Cash at the door and no-shows

Where an event is settled in cash at the door, payment is due on entry. If you reserve a place and do not attend (a no-show), you remain liable for any minimum spend or door charge attached to that reservation, and repeated no-shows may result in the loss of future access as set out in our Terms.

3. Membership access fees

Membership access fees are non-refundable once your membership has been approved and access has been granted, whether or not you subsequently attend. If a membership is later suspended or revoked for breach of the Terms, no refund of the access fee is due.

4. How to request a refund

To request a refund or cancellation, email legal@veloursdubai.com from the address on your membership, stating the event or charge concerned and the date of payment. Approved card refunds are returned to the original payment method via our payment provider and may take several business days to appear.

5. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Raising a chargeback for a charge that is validly due under this policy may result in suspension of your membership while the matter is investigated.
